Especially the fact that in a not very distant past folks from the "lower" castes avoided making their caste public.. while today we have come to a stage where folks are fighting for moving "lower" down in the caste pyramid. What does this say of our current societal set up and the current mechanism of reservations that we have implemented for bringing about "equality" in the society.
